Well, that had certainly been a weekend. Grace being there had been great as per usual, while Doris had been... Doris.

Which was why Danny hasn't just fallen back asleep with a grumpy huff when Steve had gotten up for his usual level of exercise. Instead, he padded on out to make coffee, but found it already started by Steve. The good stuff again too.

That was what led Danny to taking his coffee to sit on the lanai to do something so cliché as to watch the sunrise as he waited for Steve to join him there.

Danny didn't mean to laugh, but there he was anyway. "Decorum?"

God he loved this man.

"I know big words too," Steve said.

"I'm very turned on right now," Danny assured him, running his fingers through Steve's hair.

Steve laughed. "Vocabulary does it for you?"

"It's a secret, I'll thank you not to spread it around," Danny replied dryly.

Steve kissed him again. "Your secret's safe with me."

"Babe," Danny sighed, sound like an absolute sap as he kissed him back.

Steve moved his hand back and stared moving over Danny again.

Danny returned the favor, letting out another sigh. Because they had... well, he wasn't going to check the clock right now because he was a little focused on this right here.

Steve had a clock running in his head anyway because he was weird like that. "C'mon, Danny."

"You too," he said stubbornly. Which was part of his charm, really.

"Oh, I'm getting there," Steve moaned.

Well, that moan was what Danny needed to get himself there. Especially with Steve on top of him like that. Hopefully Steve had another shower factored into his timing there.

It only took three minutes! Steve buried his head in the crook of Danny's neck as he came, Danny's name on his lips.

"Steve," he sighed, letting himself just relax for the moment. And also because wow.

Steve kissed him, lingering in it. "Feeling much better now."

"Gonna kill me if we keep this up," he teased quietly.

"Wouldn't dream of killing you," Steve murmured.

Danny snorted before kissing him again. "You have work, don't you?"

"I do," Steve said. "And I need another shower."

"And I need more coffee and a shower after you," Danny replied, flopping back against the bed.

Steve kissed him again, smiling.

"I'll make our reservations," he promised into that kiss.

"Thank you," Steve said. "For all of this."
