Well, yesterday happened. And now Danny had a series of shots for rabies.

Which was just great.

But today he was sorting through some mail to find something addressed to him from the Navy. Which turned out to be paperwork on a life insurance policy for one Steve McGarrett with him as the beneficiary.

"You are not," Steve said, nipping Danny's lower lip.

"Yes, I am," Danny murmured, slowly finding a rhythm that worked for them both right now.

"You're not," Steve sighed, closing his eyes.

Danny chuckled, also closing his eyes for a moment. "You're just more explosive."

"Maybe a little," Steve said, digging his heels into the bed.

"C'mon, move for me," Danny demanded like the bossy person he was too.

Steve smirked at him. "Make me."

"Make you," Danny repeated, looking down at him with an answering smirk. "You are such an ass."

"You love it," Steve replied.

Danny hummed because he couldn't just admit it.

So, instead, he leaned forward to pin Steve's shoulders against the bed to ride him intently.

This was exactly what Steve had been hoping for, but he wasn't going to say that, either. Communication was for other people. He sighed softly, rocking his hips up to meet Danny's tempo.

It helped that they both understood the secret language of constant bickering. Even here.

Danny inhaled deeply, finding just the right angle for this. "God, Steve..."

"Just like that," Steve agreed, eyes going hooded and satisfied.

Danny tightened his grip on Steve's shoulders enough to probably leave some handprints there as he gasped. "Good enough for you?" he teased.

"It's okay," Steve gasped back, smirking.

"You absolute ass," Danny grumbled, leaning in to give him much more aggressive kiss for that.

Steve chuckled, squeezing Danny's ass as he did so. "Yep."

"Why is it I love you again?" Danny asked, grinding back down on him.

[grenadesandohana]

"I have no idea," Steve groaned. "Jesus, just like that."

"Fuck," Danny hissed, going faster with that kind of reaction.

"Please and harder," Steve said, biting down on the meat of Danny's shoulder.

"C'mon then," Danny ordered, the words punched out of him with that bite.

There would definitely be bruises on Danny's hips from Steve's hands as he pushed down, chasing that last little high.

Danny's voice went thready and desperate as he rode Steve harder to get himself where he needed to come. They could compare bruises later. Possibly in a rushed shower.

Steve was making a needy little whine high in his throat he wasn't even aware of as he came.
