Yesterday was Steve's first holiday with the extended Williams clan in New Jersey and the only reason he wasn't dead was probably because Charlie was also there to split the attention of everyone. At least that was Danny's assumption.

But they were back in Hawaii now and the kids back with Rachel. Well. Charlie was. Grace had immediately run off to spend the day with her friends at a mall somewhere.

"You good, babe? Need a hand?"

He was just being a jerk to poor, traumatized Steve.

"But they're so little," Steve protested.

"Yeah, newborns are like that." Twins on top of that!

"But they were sleeping while we were there!"

[hatesparadise]

"And they only spit up on both of us a little bit."

Yes, Steve. That had been a minimal amount of spit up.

"That was a little bit?"

[hatesparadise]

"Ohhh yeah," Danny said, really making Steve think highly of parenthood, huh?

"I should get Diego a parka for Christmas."

Steven, no.

[hatesparadise]

Danny pinched him for that. "More coffee is a better choice."

"How about coffee wrapped in a parka?"

[hatesparadise]

"You're ridiculous," Danny snorted, watching a bad call on the game.

[grenadesandohana]

"You're ridiculous," Steve retorted. "And so was that call."

[hatesparadise]

"I'm the reasonable one here, you're like that ref," Danny shot back.

Steve poked him in the stomach. "I am not."

[hatesparadise]

"Are so," Danny said, poking him back.

"No," Steve insisted, poking Danny again.

They were highly trained members of law enforcement, folks.
