Well, yesterday happened. And now Danny had a series of shots for rabies.

Which was just great.

But today he was sorting through some mail to find something addressed to him from the Navy. Which turned out to be paperwork on a life insurance policy for one Steve McGarrett with him as the beneficiary.

"Steven!"

"You are so possessive," Danny laughed quietly. Like he hadn't gone and pointedly asked for marks over That One Week.

Steve smiled. "You're not surprised."

"I'm not surprised," Danny agreed, shifting a little in place to try getting a hand around both of them.

Steve let out a low gasp and rocked into Danny's hand. "Jesus, I've missed you."

"Got me now, babe," he replied, abandoning any plans for something more intricate for something immediate and perfect.

Steve had been slightly worried this week. Maybe. A little.

"Good."

Which might feature into why Danny was more than willing to be late to work right now.

That and all the paperwork that was waiting for them.

"I got you too," Danny murmured, squeezing his hand just a little.

Steve moaned softly. "I know you do."

"Good," Danny sighed, moving his hand with the intention to knock the breath out of Steve.

It was definitely working for Steve, who'd been ready to go for a while now. "Please--"

He smirked. "Get on up there."

Romantic, Steve. Truly.

"Get on up there," Danny repeated, definitely laughing as he pushed himself up onto his knees to do just that.

Even if it was ridiculous to hear.

Steve beamed at him like he'd said something remotely appropriate.

"You are just so lucky that I find you sexy in spite of this," Danny informed him, somehow managing to still look amused for a moment before being distracted by pressing back down onto him.

"I really am," Steve said with a gasp.

"Good enough for you?" Danny asked, gasping a little as he sat back.

It took three tries for Steve to find words as he nodded. "Harder."

Because of course.

"Pushy," Danny grumbled, reaching back to plant his hand on the bed to start moving for him.

It was clearly such a hardship and not at all what he wanted too.

Steve grinned. "Always."

His brain would melt out his ears if Danny ever insisted on going slow.

Maybe for his birthday then.

"Pretty sure you'd die if you couldn't tell me what to do," he sighed.

Steve laughed. "So would you."

"Yeah, but I'm more frequently right," he had to tease.

"You are not," Steve said, nipping Danny's lower lip.

"Yes, I am," Danny murmured, slowly finding a rhythm that worked for them both right now.

"You're not," Steve sighed, closing his eyes.

Danny chuckled, also closing his eyes for a moment. "You're just more explosive."
