Yesterday was Steve's first holiday with the extended Williams clan in New Jersey and the only reason he wasn't dead was probably because Charlie was also there to split the attention of everyone. At least that was Danny's assumption.

But they were back in Hawaii now and the kids back with Rachel. Well. Charlie was. Grace had immediately run off to spend the day with her friends at a mall somewhere.

"You good, babe? Need a hand?"

He was just being a jerk to poor, traumatized Steve.

"This is good too," Steve murmured, kissing him back.

"We're gonna lay on the couch and not move for the evening with a game on in the background," Danny suggested. Because he enjoying cuddling so very much.

"That sounds amazing," Steve said. "We can see if Rainbow will deliver."

"They better." Living in a pre-Covid world made that iffy.

"If not, I bet I could pay Jerry twenty bucks to deliver it for us," Steve said.

"It would be getting him to leave again that'd be the issue," Danny said, turning the water off.

Steve chuckled as he reached for the towels. "Good point."

"Maybe we brave the road just for a bit." Oh, that was jinxing them with Honolulu traffic.

Steve wrinkled his nose as he wrapped the towel around his waist. "But...pants."

"Oh, I forgot you were a casual nudist," Danny shot back with an amused look as he grabbed his own towel to do the same.

"I haven't heard complaint," Steve said.

"It's not the worst view," Danny replied with a grin.

Steve laughed. "I knew it," he said, leaning in for a kiss.

Danny hummed into that kiss, lingering for another moment. "Do not let it go to your head."

"Too late," Steve said with a smirk.

"Insufferable," Danny grumbled, already going to try taming his hair again now that it was threatening to curl on him.

"I like the curl," Steve said with a little grin as he went past to pull on boxers.

"You're a putz!" The curls were evil and would always be tamed with hair products.

"Your mom showed me Danny before gel pictures," he said. "Hilarious."

"I regret bringing you home!" Danny called after him.

"No you don't," Steve said with a smirk. "Your aunts love me."

Probably in a way bordering on inapprpriate!

"They'd scoop you up in a heartbeat," Danny shot back.

"That's part of what I'm worried about," Steve admitted, grinning.

"I'll keep you safe for the right price," Danny offered, trailing after him to steal some of Steve's clothes to wear for their day of not moving off the couch.

He was welcome to a huge variety of Navy t-shirts or the one from high school Steve kept around because he still fit in a t-shirt from high school and he was proud of himself.
