So, you could make all the plans you wanted, but the island--no, not the one in the Pacific--would do whatever the hell it wanted. But in this once instance, it all worked out. Probably because there were other people involved.

Which didn't annoy Danny at all.

No, don't be silly. He was just glad to be home--don't anyone tell Steve that he called it that--and able to see his daughter again.

"I haven't investigated, but I think so," Annie said with an affirming nod. "They're the most married people I have ever met, though."

Like, more married than her own parents had ever been, that was for sure.

"No go," Chin said as Kono muttered 'Shoots' under her breath, accepting the cocktails from the bartender. "If it didn't happen when they started telling each other 'I love you', I'm starting to think it's just not going to."

"I'm pretty invested in their whole deal," Annie shared, smiling. "Like, Diego thinks they're gross, I think 'cause he has to work with them, but I'm like, always willing them to figure this thing out. They're so cute."

See, it was good they'd moved out of earshot from Danny and Steve, because Annie wouldn't have said that where they could hear!

"Thank you!" And in exchange for that drink, Annie was going to proudly hold out her phone to share with them the video she had found of Steve's keg stand.

"I got you, dude," Annie assured Chin. "But I need to know about the pin-up thing."

She wasn't even going to pretend it was for evidence. It was for telling Diego about and laughing. That was all.

Kono and Chin shared a glance at that, having a quick, private debate on whether or not to share.

"Danny was in a beefcake calendar back in New Jersey," Kono finally said. "For charity."

And it was amazing.
