Well, that had definitely been a thing that had happened. With the plane and the drone and Danny would very gladly forget all about it other than to bully Steve into taking care of his goddamn leg until it was healed fully.

It was the last morning in Hawaii for their guests and possibly them. Fandom-willing.

"Yeah, whose opinion are you gonna listen to on that one?" Annie asked in an undertone, leaning a little closer. "The guy you work with who loves finding reasons to laugh at you, or the woman who took that shirt off you later?"

Incidentally, she had also looked pretty cute in it after the fact.

"...you have a good point there." And, yes, she did look good in it later on. Way better than he did, in his opinion.

"I promise you, the color thing is totally because I think you look hot, not 'cause I'm trying to embarrass you via clothes," Annie assured him with a sly little smile, even if she was blushing a little now. "At least not until next Christmas."

Then all bets were off again, but such was the nature of the ugly sweater.

"I know," he said, leaning in for another kiss. "Now you have me living in fear of next Christmas."

"You have a whole summer of me trying to negotiate sleeves to look forward to first," Annie teased, staying close.

"See now that I'm more agreeable to," he said. "Give me all the black sleeveless shirts, I'll wear 'em."

"I will remember you said that," Annie vowed, leaning in to kiss him again.
