Well, yesterday happened. And now Danny had a series of shots for rabies.

Which was just great.

But today he was sorting through some mail to find something addressed to him from the Navy. Which turned out to be paperwork on a life insurance policy for one Steve McGarrett with him as the beneficiary.

"Steven!"

Steve smiled. "Well, I know better than to argue when you're in that mood."

Lies. Steve never knew when to stop arguing.

"Damn right," he muttered, leaning in to kiss Steve again like he needed to prove who was in charge here.

Steve chuckled, wrapped his legs around Danny and flipped them so he was on top. "Needing to prove something?"

"You went and paperwork married me, you putz," Danny said with an amused little huff.

"It wasn't even that hard," Steve said, smiling back.

Danny rolled his eyes, but was smiling as he pulled Steve in for another kiss. "Maybe that'll get you to do your paperwork in the office."

"Nah," Steve decided. "I don't care about that paperwork."

"Wow, you almost made paperwork sound romantic there," Danny replied, giving him a little squeeze on the rear end.

Steve laughed. "I've got moves."

"You've got some moves," Danny countered, looking fondly amused up at him.

"I have all kinds of moves," Steve said.

"Right now your moves are preventing you from getting laid," Danny said. Because he was very good at just getting things out there.

Steve laughed. "I'll stop."

"Damn right you will," Danny said, pulling him into another kiss. "Missed this."

"Me too," Steve said, arching against him.

They were definitely going to be late to the station.

Danny let out a pleased little sigh, running hid hands along Steve's sides as he moved a little to get started on a hickey that would be hidden under Steve's shirt.

Steve let out a very soft sigh. "Harder."

"Harder, he says," Danny muttered, mostly to himself before he was making sure it would bruise in the best way possible.

Steve possibly needed a reminder he was still wanted.

Not that he'd ever say so.

Oh no, of course not! Actions were just way superior.

Danny hummed, running his hands along Steve's sides mostly just to touch as much as he could manage.

Steve was happy to reciprocate in kind, though he was avoiding messing with Danny's hair since they had to go to work...well, now.

But that wasn't happening, so soon.

They'd just bribe the troopers with donuts and no PT for the day! It'd be fine.

Danny made a pleased little noise as he moved a little further down Steve's body for another mark just on the edge of a tattoo.

Steve chuckled, low and pleased. "You like the ink, huh?"

"I like the ink," Danny agreed. "Helps that you pull it off very well."

"You'd look good with ink, too," Steve said.

Maybe not on his knuckles, but somewhere!
