And Danny wasn't at all both saddened and relieved to not have Matty or Grace or even Meka show up for him. Not at all. Don't be silly.
He was just gonna do the sane thing and sublimate his feelings by making breakfast for Steve and his guest until things went back to normal. Which would hopefully happen tomorrow. But, for now, there would be pancakes. With bananas and chocolate chips to make Steve smile like a goofball.
